CLASSICAL CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AT HOME
"…where the instruction which enlightens the understanding is not separated from the moral education which amends the heart." — Alexis de Tocqueville
✦ WHO WE ARE ✦
Meeting on Fridays in Botley, Hampshire, offering in-person classes from Year R (Age 4) to Year 9 (Age 12) with a rigorous classical curriculum.
Rooted in the Christian tradition, we seek to form children in virtue, wisdom, and devotion — that they may know, love, and serve God above all things.
To form a child's character by nourishing their souls with truth, goodness, and beauty, so that they may serve God and their fellow man with virtue, dignity, and strength.
We follow the classical Trivium — Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric — equipping children with the tools of learning rather than merely filling them with facts.
Our Friday community gatherings bring families together for shared lessons, recitation, song, and the formation of lasting Christian friendships.
✦ THE CLASSICAL CURRICULUM ✦
Each four-year cycle carries your child through the great sweep of history, literature, science, and theology — in the classical tradition.
The beginning of all learning: creation, ancient history, the alphabet of the arts, and the first prayers of the faith.
Greece, Rome, and the early Church — the foundations of Western civilisation and the spread of the Gospel.
The medieval and Reformation world — Christendom's rise, the great cathedrals, the schoolmen, and the flowering of Christian culture.
The Enlightenment, revolutions, and modernity — equipping students to understand the age they inhabit and engage it with wisdom.
✦ ENROLMENT ✦
Each access pass grants one year of full digital access — audio, video, lesson resources, and printables for your chosen cycle.
Access is granted immediately upon payment. You will need to be signed in to complete your purchase.

✦ FROM OUR FAMILIES ✦
"St Alban's Grammar has transformed our home. Our children are not merely learning facts — they are learning to love learning itself. The classical method, taught within the faith, is exactly what we had been searching for."
— A GRATEFUL MOTHER, HAMPSHIRE"The Timeline Cards alone are worth their weight in gold. My eldest can now recite two thousand years of history with joy. The curriculum is beautifully sequenced and profoundly Christian."

"God, that all-powerful Creator of nature and architect of the world, has impressed man with no character so proper to distinguish him from other animals, as by the faculty of speech."
